"Everything I need is on the ground" is a lyric from Rosé of BlackPink's song "On the Ground." I created this piece when I first started practicing portraiture and developed a particular interest in drawing younger women. This interest likely stems from my passion for feminism and my desire to depict strong women who stand their ground. Listening to Rosé's song, I was inspired by the idea that the ultimate empowered woman is grounded—emotionally resilient, self-aware, and at peace, even during hardships. As a social worker, I deeply admire these traits and continually strive to stay grounded myself.
